The story of the Tyasmyn canyon formation is unique and very interesting. Two billion years ago, the right-bank territory of river Dnieper in our region was covered by high folded mountains. However, with the course of time, these mountains were destroyed due to the tireless activity of natural forces in subsequent geological epochs. All that remains of these mountains are the roots, which we can see in the form of solid crystalline rocks.
In 1975, the Tyasmin Canyon was officially registered as a natural monument of local significance. This beautiful corner of the Ukrainian land has a strong tourist potential. Also, it is a unique object for scientific research. When resting in the Tyasmin canyon, you can feel emotional, creative, and spiritual charge.
